Account protection

LuckyBear security

Verify the address and protect your password rather than trusting an unexpected shortcut link.

Before login

  • check the domain and HTTPS;
  • avoid unexpected redirect chains;
  • never share one-time verification codes;
  • do not install an APK from an unrelated catalogue;
  • verify payment details before confirming.

How to assess legitimacy

Use verifiable facts such as the operator, licence, terms and contact details rather than relying on a single review.

Check the page before entering a password

Look at the address bar, HTTPS and the familiar login flow. If a page suddenly asks you to install an extension, send a code in a messenger or pass through several unknown domains, close it and return to a saved address.

After login, compare the balance and account history with what you expect. This is a simple way to spot that you opened the wrong profile or an unusual page.

Passwords, codes and devices

Use a password that is not shared with your email or other services. A one-time code belongs only in the login form that you opened yourself.

Before a payment

Check the amount, currency and recipient in the payment form before confirming. If details unexpectedly change after a third-party redirect, stop and verify the page address first.

For crypto, also compare the network and the full wallet address; a network mismatch cannot be fixed by refreshing the page.
